What happens to trichloroethylene when it enters the environment?

Trichloroethylene dissolves a little in water, but it can remain in ground water for a long time.
Trichloroethylene quickly evaporates from surface water, so it is commonly found as a vapor in the air.
Trichloroethylene evaporates less easily from the soil than from surface water.
It may stick to particles and remain for a long time.
Trichloroethylene may stick to particles in water, which will cause it to eventually settle to the bottom sediment.

Trichloroethylene Health Hazard Summary: Trichloroethylene mainly affects the central nervous system (the brain), causing headache, nausea, dizziness, clumsiness, drowsiness, and other effects like those of being drunk. TCE can also damage the facial nerves, and it can cause skin rash. Heavy exposure can damage the liver and kidneys. TCE causes cancer in animals and may cause cancer in humans. Please consider using G-X-Tract as a safe, effective alternative to Trichloroethylene.

Special penetrating surfactants and emulsifiers blended to remove the heaviest accumulations of grease, oil, dirt, scum, carbons, and other hard to remove contaminants. BIO-BLUE HD2 is a non-butyl degreaser formulated specifically for industrial cleaning and degreasing the toughest jobs. This is a most versatile product for degreasing auto and aircraft engines, chassis and other parts ; cleaning vinyl, plastic, leather upholstery; painted and unpainted machinery and equipment.

A concentrated all purpose cleaner for the removal of grease, oils, dirt, soot, and other hard to remove soils on most surfaces. Has the flexibilty to handle most cleaning jobs. Its wide range of indication helps reduce money spent on large inventories related to cleaning products. Also used for stripping and cleaning composition floors, cleaning terrazzo, ceramic tiles and concrete.

Directions:

CRETEKure & Coat was developed for curing and sealing freshly placed concrete and sealing new or existing, interior or exterior concrete flatwork.

CRETEKure & Coat is a concrete curing compound formulated with a white pigment to reflect the sun’s rays. This maintains cooler concrete, which reduces the expansive and contractive stresses that cause cracking during the hydration process.

Ready for use and easily applied.

Does not react with the ingredients in Portland cement concrete.

Application
"Prepare surfaces and apply curing compound in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations."

Directions
After the concrete has received its final finish (1-3 hours after concrete placement) and the water sheen has disappeared from the surface. Pinholes in the curing compound film will occur if applied when there is still standing water on concrete surface. Using pigmented curing compounds helps achieve complete application coverage. If the concrete appears to be dry, wet the surface before applying the curing compound.

BIO – D708 is completely biodegradable, non-toxic, non-caustic, water-based solvent that is blended with top grade surfactants that is specifically formulated to prevent harm to the environment as it dissolves away grease, oil, and contaminants from hard surfaces.

RELEASE-2000 Asphalt Release Agent

The non-hazardous, water soluble mixable agent is designed to provide clean rapid and easy separation of bituminous (asphalt) materials from beds of dump trucks and haul trucks, when applied to the surface of the truck beds provides the following performances:
• Once applied to the truck bed, a micro-thin film spreads out across the truck bed. This film creates a negative electrostatic charge on both the surface of the truck bed and the asphalt. This causes electrostatic repulsions preventing the asphalt from sticking to the surface of the truck bed.
• Prevents buildup of asphalt in truck beds.
• Completely biodegradable thus minimizes environmental concerns.
• Allows multiple hauls between applications.
• Can be safely used with all types of asphalt mixes.

Directions

[1] This product can be used at full strength / concentrated form for equipment and hand tool cleaning.
[2] To use for haul trucks, use 10 to 12 ounces per 1 gallon of water.
[3] After mixing, the release agent can be sprayed into the haul beds with any type of sprayer.
[4] The Haul Bed should be free of any old / build-up asphalt. The cleaner the bed, the better results.
[5] On regular Marshal Type mix, 4 to 6 hauls can be made before applying another coating.

**RELEASE 2000 has been approved by Georgia D.O.T. and listed on the QPL.
